Nonpartisan environmental forum with FL House District 113 candidates on Biscayne Bay, water quality, waste & climate.
Biscayne Bay is in District 113’s backyard, and the next State Representative will help shape its future. Join Debris Free Oceans, Miami Waterkeeper, and other environmental organizations for a nonpartisan environmental forum bringing together Florida State House candidates to answer questions on the issues that matter most to our waters, communities, and climate.
This forum is designed as a space for environmental organizations and engaged residents to ask thoughtful, substantive questions of all candidates — not to endorse, campaign, or fundraise — but to ensure transparency, accountability, and informed leadership on environmental policy.
Candidates from across the political spectrum have been invited to participate in a moderated discussion focused on key environmental issues affecting the district.
Topics may include:
The proposed Port Everglades expansion
Water quality, pollution, and public health
Biscayne Bay restoration and resilience
Climate adaptation and infrastructure
Trash challenges and zero-waste solutions
Environmental organizations, advocates, and community members will have the opportunity to pose substantive questions and hear directly from candidates about their priorities and proposed solutions.
